Apple Picking is just a must do if you live in Minnesota- it is one of my absolute favorite things to do every year with my sweet family. It doesn’t matter how busy my photography season is- a trip to the apple orchard is slotted out on the calendar at the beginning of Summer. It is just that important! This year we went to Minnesota Harvest. It was our first time going and we were so delighted. If you haven’t gone before you must try it!  There is a $2 entry fee per person- but it is worth it!  This orchard is just so whimsical. They have hay rides, a petting zoo, live music, a sunflower maze and so many fresh baked apple goodies that you will leave with a full and happy tummy. We were so thankful to have Grandma and Grandpa join us!  We can’t wait to go back next year!

I love this time of year. James Taylor. Sweaters, apples, candles, hot coffee and blankets, fires, beautiful colors, and crisp clean air.

What are your favorite fall traditions? Do you go apple picking? Carve pumpkins? Have bonfires and roast s’mores?

These are some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen. I need to know what lens…and how do you get light on their faces (like the one where Lilly is so far away)? I’m in love.
